In March several members of the Group, including some husbands, enjoyed a relaxing and delicious afternoon tea on the veranda under the canvas sails at Gapsted Wines. Lovely sunny afternoon – not a care in the world – but it eventually came to an end and it was back to the real world again !
On 11th April a little car-pooling saw twenty of us charmed by ‘The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel’ in Albury. Some shared a meal together before the film and all had coffee together afterwards. Everyone drove back to Stanley with smiles on their faces.
On the regular ‘third Tuesday of the month’ the Group listened to an interesting talk by Heather Trezise about her life in Zimbabwe, Zambia and South Africa before coming to live in Wodonga a year ago.
Don’t forget Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea on Thursday 24th May – entertainment will be provided this year.
