Stanley Recreation Reserve
The Stanley Recreation Reserve Committee is pleased to announce the arrival of the new operable wall/doors in the Neighbourhood Safer Place (NSP). These doors concertina and very effectively divide the space into two, one smaller than the other.
This means that for meetings or gatherings where only a smaller space is required (quicker to heat in the winter) the wall can effectively divide the building making it much more versatile.
Obviously too, if two separate spaces are needed at the one time (for example during an emergency situation when meals are being prepared but perhaps fire-fighters need privacy and rest) the building can also function very effectively.
Thanks must go to Gerri Grady who almost singlehandedly secured a grant to allow this addition to the building.
The Committee hopes that the NSP can now be even more useful for the Stanley Community.
