Stanley CFA News
Again, this is a reminder to ensure that the fire services are aware of your planned burn.
This will avoid the CFA members being called out unnecessarily to respond to reports of smoke from your planned burns.
So when you come to any burning off please give the Emergency Services Telecommunications Authority (ESTA) prior notification. You can do this by phoning 1800 668 511 and provide the required information.
Testing of CB Radios
This will recommence on Sat Nov 1st at 9am.
Please ensure that you have fresh batteries for your radios.
There is an empty 1,000 litre plastic tank at the rear of the fire shed. This tank has been used for spraying and has contained roundup. It is available to the first person that collects it. It is free and first-come-first-served.
