McIntosh Garden, 17 Lower Stanley Road, Beechworth
From main Beechworth intersection take Camp St/Stanley Rd. (C525) for 1km and turn left into Lower Stanley Rd.
Handsome mature English oaks form a backdrop for exotic trees and a generous garden set on sloping lawns which sweep down to views of Lake Sambell. Large circular bed of Rosa alba, Manchurian pears, Nyssas, Crabapples and flowering Cherries. Granite walls and steps; water features (.75acre).

From Beechworth travel to Stanley (10 Kms/minutes); turn left into
Pioneer Rd. at Primary School corner, garden first on right
immediately after Recreation Reserve.
A relaxed woodland garden established over the past 25 years. Unusual cool climate trees and shrubs include Magnolias, Dogwoods, Clematis, Crabapples and Viburnums. Tree walk adjacent to mature Chestnut orchard featuring young Oaks and Nothofagus. Extensive netted organically run vegetable gardens and fruit/citrus orchard (2 acres).
